Blaze Your Trail: Youth Activism Workshop with Nevo Zisin

'If you’re not pissing someone off, you’re not doing activism right.'

Non-binary performer, writer and activist Nevo Zisin is acutely aware of the power of words: the importance of learning how to wield them, and how to push back when you need to.

In this hands-on workshop for budding activists aged 13 to 21, Nevo will share inspiring stories of powerful young change-makers across a variety of fields, and offer an essential toolkit for getting involved in activism, tackling topics from empowerment and imposter syndrome, to self-confidence, self-care and community-care. Whether you’re passionate about climate change, human rights, gender equality or animal conservation – this workshop will provide you with a practical, creative entry point towards becoming an activist and introduce you to other young people who want to change the world.

Suitable for budding activists aged 13 to 21.

Participants will need to bring a pen and something to write on for this session.
