John Vaillant

John Vaillant is a bestselling author and freelance writer whose work has appeared in The New Yorker, The Atlantic, and the Guardian, among others. His latest book, Fire Weather, won Britain's Baillie Gifford Prize, was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize and the U.S. National Book Award, and was named one of the ten best books of 2023 by The New York Times, among many other prominent publications.
