Kim Hoggard is a former US. government official who worked for two Presidents as a spokesperson and press secretary in domestic, economic and international affairs.
Kim worked in The White House as President Ronald Reagan’s Assistant Press Secretary from 1981-85.
After re-election, she served as his Deputy Assistant Secretary of Treasury for Public Affairs.
From 1989-1991, Kim was Senior Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs under Secretary of State James A. Baker III, in the Administration of President George H. W. Bush. Kim was involved at the highest levels in managing the US response to the enormous change in international affairs happening at the time.
Kim has worked over several decades as a media commentator on US politics, elections and foreign affairs for major Australian media outlets and programs on radio, TV and print, including the ABC, SBS, Channels Ten, Nine, Seven, Bloomberg and Sydney Morning Herald.
